![]() Hang around on Region and Recruitment Chat ![]() But you don’t need to be an MR20+ player to help newbies, anyone can give them a hand! Unfortunately Warframe does a horrendous job of explaining things, so a lot of these newbies need help. I can only hope that this is indeed what DE has planned for a faction sorely lacking in actual depth and variety, and in turn gives me hope for the future of our other factions as well.Ever since the Plains of Eidolon were announced, there’s been a constant stream of new players. Seeing more of what a Bursa unit can have to offer when done right leaves me feeling optimistic after my admittedly late run of this alert. The Hyenas would have been all the more enthralling to see had they been in their element with pillars, hallways, and actual walls to jump upon and cling to for different vantages of attack. Overall, this was a very promising glimpse at what fighting the Corpus could be like. ![]() The fact they stayed mobile the entire time instead of just holding still kept the game feeling chaotic even if my squad had things under control the entire time (save for our Trin getting downed once) Not just a bunch of shuffling crewman waiting to be slaughtered, but a genuine onslaught of metallic death on legs. Higher Moa spawns: This genuinely felt like we were being rushed by a small army. The nullifying field seemed best executed as it was on this mission type by the Bursas. They're boring, their spawn rates are often jacked, and at higher levels it unfairly ties a hand behind a lot of players backs and throws off the pacing rather horribly in my opinion. By the time Wave 1 came around I was able to release a safe sigh of relief. Yet to my pleasant surprise this infamous was nowhere in sight. I counted down each single wave in dread wondering if this bastard was going to soil my impression of this run. NO NULLIFIERS! I was waiting, oh I was waiting. I even saw an enemy turn invisible, while the expanding nullifier fields don't overstay their welcome, they stay long enough to shake things up a little. It would be chaotic, challenging, and hopefully not entirely cheap like so many other enemy designs.īursas return! Not only are they not stupidly tanky like their initial iterations, their powers have been tweaked into something a little more fair and interesting to tangle with. My only wish was that there were more, and to see them readily deployed on the field across the solar system.Īre my own private hopes being answered? Imagine six of these guys in Jupiter's tileset running and bouncing all over the place as other MOA armies advance from all directions. To me these were the most challenging and engaging boss DE's tossed into their game without it feeling cheap or tedious. Most importantly, no locking behind invulnerability stages or sudden HP barriers. To date they're the only boss that's required the player to be able to have semi-decent tracking and twitch shooting skills depending on how mobile these guys felt. These guys have been my favorite Warframe boss since DE introduced them. Plenty of aggressive Oxium Moas shooting things, and not just hovering around waiting to ram ya. Many of us got to experience the reshuffled enemies that DE has smartly sprinkled into the hordes, which near the end at least for my squad, led to a much more frantic and engaging pace of gameplay. Many of us have gotten to play this latest Catalyst Defense run.
